Scrambled is a named mutation associated in current Steal An Egg coverage with Dr. Scramble's experiment content. Players may see the item called a Scrambled consumable and the result called a Scrambled mutation. Those are related but separate things: owning an item is not the same as successfully applying its effect to an egg and hatching a pet that carries the label.

Avoid buying an unrelated generic Mutation Consumable just because its interaction looks similar.

A successful Scrambled application should be judged by the named result shown in the game, not by an expected color effect or a number copied from a community chart. First check whether the egg receives the Scrambled label. After hatching, inspect the selected pet panel for its name, size, mutation and displayed income. This gives you a practical answer for your own result without assuming that all pets or modifiers behave alike.

Current public guides disagree about the exact income multiplier and application chance. Some combine estimated values with other effects without showing a controlled comparison. For that reason, this page does not state a fixed multiplier, odds or stacking formula. The observable outcome is what your current item and pet panel report.

The item-use stage determines whether a mutation is added to a target. The hatch stage determines which pet emerges. A reported chance on the consumable must not be read as a chance to hatch a particular pet. Likewise, a rare pet shown in a video may have been obtained independently of the Scrambled attempt. Track the item name, egg name and resulting pet separately.
